No. We do not offer finance at this time. We offer lay-by.

Stores that offer interest free finance factored the cost of offering this service into their product price. This kind of business practice doesn’t align with our authentic pricing policy, we keep costs low and pass them on as manufacturers direct to the customer. We do offer lay-by as an alternative.

Yes. Makin Mattresses offer layby with an initial 10% deposit for a three month term.

Makin Mattresses utilise three different type of support systems within our mattress range. Our Innerspring range comprises of Bonnell Springs. Our Bellissimo Duet range comprises of Pocket Springs, and our Bellissimo Duo range comprises of European 7 zoned latex. The difference between each is personal preference and budget, a traditional Bonnell Spring mattress systems are the most traditional type of innerspring mattress. The Bonnell coil has an hour glass shape (wider at the bottom and the top than the middle) and are interconnected with a mesh of metal to make the spring system. A pocket spring  has each coil/spring wrapped individually which minimises partner disturbance and the luxurious Latex provides superior body contouring support. The Micro Coil Technology is a manufacturing first in the Australian bedding industry. Located in our North Brisbane Factory – the Micro Coil Machine – produces thousands of micro coils (size of a one dollar coin) sewn between two sheets of fabric. Cushioned micro coils – provide the ability to draw air into the products upon pressure release. Increased air flow provides breath-ability to the materials used, assisting with greater body temperature regulation whilst sleeping and providing extra comfort. Exclusive to Makin Mattresses, this Micro Coil Technology can be found in our Bellissimo range.

Unlike other mattress resellers, Makin Mattresses Pillow Tops are a single component comfort layer NOT permanently stitched to the mattress. A Pillow Top is designed to provide extra comfort and support. Visit our Accessories page for more information.
